Brazil In Charge

Gary Brazil will remain in charge of Forest on an interim basis after they sacked Mark Warburton following a nine-month stint as manager last week and Brazil did oversee an encouraging 0-0 draw with Leeds in the Championship last time out.

Forest have only won two of their past ten games in the league though and it is difficult to see them causing an upset on home soil as they were hammered 4-0 when they hosted Arsenal in the League Cup last season.

Arsenal are 4/7 favourites for the win (Betfred) this weekend and their reserve side are used to playing with one another this season as they have reached the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, as well as the knockout stages of the Europa League.

Walcott To Strike

Only Birmingham (15) have lost more league games than Forest’s tally of 14 in the Championship this term and they have been woeful defensively for much of this campaign, conceding 42 goals – the fifth-most in the second tier of English football.

With that in mind, we’re expecting a comfortable win for Arsenal and they are 6/4 to win with a -1 goal handicap (Betfred.com).

Arsenal’s attacking quality is likely to be too much for this Forest side to handle and Theo Walcott will be looking to make the most of a rare chance. Walcott has scored four goals in his past seven appearances in the Europa League and League Cup, and the out-of-favour forward is 51/10 to score first on Sunday (Unibet).
