The bookmakers have their work cut out when trying to price up the Serbia v Switzerland Odds as there is very little to choose between the pair. Serbia v Switzerland Match Odds

Switzerland go into this fixture in confident mood as they earned a hugely impressive 1-1 draw against Brazil in their opening match and they have now lost just one of their past 23 international matches (won 16, drawn six).

They are a team that knows how to get the job done as they won 10 of their 12 World Cup qualifiers (drew one, lost one), including a play-off victory over Northern Ireland, and they are 19/10 for a first victory of this summer’s tournament in Russia.

We simply can’t oppose the Swiss as they are so impressive defensively, keeping eight clean sheets in the 12 World Cup qualifiers, and it is no surprise to see that under 2.5 goals is priced 1/2 this week.

Serbia needed a brilliant free-kick from Aleksandr Kolarov to beat a poor Costa Rica team 1-0 in their opening game and they will hope to see more from their leading forward, Aleksandr Mitrovic, in this next outing.

The Serbians arguably need to go on the attack in this game as they still have to play Brazil in their final Group E outing and that could play into the hands of the defensively superb Swiss, who will relish the opportunity to pick their opponents off on the break.

With a game against Costa Rica still to come, Switzerland know what a draw wouldn’t be a dreadful result here but we fancy them to nick it and we’re going to back the Swiss to win with ‘draw no bet’ at 39/40 with Unibet.

The in-form Steven Zuber could be the man to seal victory as he has now scored four goals and laid on two assists in his past six international appearances, and he is a huge 16/1 to be first goalscorer with Bet 365.
