Hull FC Can Dominate Local Rivals In Derby Clash

Back-to-back defeats to the aforementioned Leeds and Huddersfield has seen Hull FC drop two points behind Wigan Warriors at the top of the Super League table, but having beaten Hull KR in their two previous meetings this season then it’s no surprise to see them installed as the 1/3 favourites with Ladbrokes to pick up the two points here.

Hull KR know that they must win if they are to hold on to a glimmer of hope of making the Super 8s, and having beaten Huddersfield last week will fancy their chances, but they are as big as 11/4 with Betfair Sportsbook to gain the Humberside bragging rights, and they will find it tough to turn their recent form with their rivals around.

With the 1/3 offering very little value then it could be worth looking elsewhere for some more attractive betting propositions, and bet365’s 3/4 about Hull FC leading at half-time and full-time is cracking value, as the home side could pull clear in the early stages, with some attacking brilliance, and they cement their lead throughout the 80 minutes.

Wigan To Cement Top Spot With Win Over Leeds

Leeds Rhinos’ fans may have had something to shout about last week with their abovementoned win over Hull FC, but with a space in the Super 8s beyond them the reigning champions may find it tough, as they welcome a Wigan Warriors side in great form, and at the prices the 8/11 with Paddy Power for a Warriors success is more than fair.

They narrowly beat Wakefield 22-18 last week, but while the Rhinos have improved in recent weeks this is a huge test for a side that have struggled defensively all term, so a Leeds win at 6/5 with bet365 is shocking value, and it’s worth sticking with the high-flying Warriors, who can take a huge step to landing the League Leaders’ Shield.

Dragons, Saints And Wolves All To Record Wins

Catalans Dragons and St Helens are battling it out for that final top-four spot with the former in the ascendancy, and they can ease to victory in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Saturday, as they are as short as 1/9 with Coral Bookmakers to beat Wakefield, but Saints can follow that up with their own success, as the 8/11 shots with bet365 can down Huddersfield in another mouth-watering contest.

Warrington Wolves are sitting in third place in the table, but they can put pressure on Hull FC and Wigan above them by landing a success at Castleford Tigers on Sunday afternoon, and at a best-priced 1/2 with several firms can round off the weekend’s top rugby league action, as we get ever closer to the fascinating Super 8s in the top flight.
