The PGA Tour season continues with the RSM Classic at Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia from Thursday and it should be a thoroughly enjoyable tournament as players compete on two difference courses…

The RSM Classic

Scott Brown (each way)

@ 50 / 1
Bill Haas (each way) @ 33 / 1
Jamie Lovemark (each way) @ 40 / 1

The Head Of The Market

Since 2015, this event has used the Plantation Course and Seaside Course, with the opening two rounds split across the two tracks before the weekend’s final two rounds take place exclusively on the Seaside.

It is a format that Kevin Kisner knows well as he won the 2015 title and he is an 18/1 favourite for what will be his first start of the new campaign. Brian Harman can also be backed at 18/1 after enjoying a stunning twelve months since missing the cut here in 2016, while Georgian native Matt Kuchar (20/1) will hope to put local knowledge to use.

Elsewhere, the ultra-consistent Webb Simpson is 20/1 and he heads into this tournament with four successive top-20 finishes under his belt, while Charles Howell III, who ran into some place money for us last week, can be backed at 25/1 after going 19-15-4 this season.

The Selections

We prefer to side with another player from the state of Georgia though as Scott Brown makes great appeal at a massive 50/1. Brown will hope to follow on the footsteps of former Georgian winners of this tournament (Kisner, Heath Slocum, Chris Kirk) and he tends to enjoy this coastal track as he has secured three top-20s in four visits.

The former Puerto Rico Open winner is in form too as he has racked up five top-25 finishes in his last eight outings, including top-six efforts in two of his last three appearances on the PGA Tour.
Tip #1: Scott Brown (each way) @ 50/1 with Bet 365.

Bill Haas is very much a horse for this course as he tied 13th last year and a man who has won six titles on the PGA Tour is an attractive 33/1 this week. Haas, who tied 5th at the US Open earlier this year, has finished in the top-20 in two of his last four outings and he can prosper this week.
Tip #2: Bill Haas (each way) @ 33/1 with Betfred.

Finally, Jamie Lovemark is another who looks over-priced at 40/1 as he has finished 9th and 6th in his last two visits to Sea Island. Lovemark tied 5th at the CJ Cup recently and we are more than happy to have him onside at the prices.
Tip #3: Jamie Lovemark (each way) @ 40/1 with B365.
